The cast of The Greatest Showman certainly lives up to the movie's name!
In a live commercial that aired during Fox's musical A Christmas Story Live!on Sunday night, star HughJackman was joined by Zac Efron, Zendaya, and an enormous cast to perform the song "Come Alive" from the upcoming film.
Beginning with a few kids leaving the Christmas Story set and following Jackman -- in his P.T. Barnum ringmaster costume -- towards the back lot containing a large historical set, the performance kicked off with Jackman singing a quieter verse, before going big and tossing his cane to another performer.
As soon as Jackman finished his verse, the camera swung to Efron, with an unexpected mustache, and Zendaya, wearing her character's pink wig, dancing and singing on the steps of a building.
Keala Settle, who plays the Bearded Lady in the film, joined the rest of the cast next as the camera revealed just how many dancers...

Kevin Hart is getting ready to welcome his son Kenzo any day now ... though preferably not this weekend!
Et spoke with the 38-year-old comedian on Saturday to talk about his exclusive underwear collection with Tommy John, where he also talked about running the New York City marathon on Sunday. Hart says his wife, Eniko Parrish, is a week and a half away from giving birth, and jokes that if their baby comes early, it might spoil his epic weekend plans.
"She’s about to drop," Hart says of Parrish. "My wife sneezes wrong, she’s gonna have that baby right now -- right now. She sneezes, that baby’s coming out. So, I just keep telling her, 'Hold it.' That’s what I keep telling her. 'Hold it!'"
"She’s trying to dance the baby out," he adds. "I told her to sit down. It can’t come out yet. I got two more...

Just to race with Chyna! Nicki Minaj reunited with her longtime pal Blac Chyna on Wednesday night. The ladies posed together on Chyna’s Snapchat wearing matching latex looks.

In the Snapchat videos, Minaj and Chyna pose seductively as the “Starships” emcee jokingly pretends to lick the former reality star.
Chyna, who served as Minaj’s body double in Kanye West’s “Monster” music video back in 2010, also Instagrammed a shot of her red Lamborghini next to the rapper’s pink one, captioning it, “Just to race with Chyna” -- a recent Minaj lyric from the song “Rake It Up.”

Ar Rahman is a man of seemingly endless genius. Audiences always look forward to movies that he has penned music for whatever the language. Starting out with the illustrious Illaiyaraja and Mani Ratnam, he has brought his musical talents to the world stage. A flair and beauty in some ways that has not been seen since the time of Rd Burman. Mom follows the same familiar pattern on this path. Having just completed Mani Ratnam’s latest movie, as well as the English film Viceroy’s House, he has thrown himself into Mom, a film of a completely different kind and within its seemingly complex story line has found a soundtrack to perfectly fit it.
Let’s begin with O Sona Tere Liye. Without having seen the visual accompaniment to this song, it’s hard to tell what exactly the mood is for this song. Rahman himself teams up with Shashaa Tirupati,...

The “Not Tomorrow Yet” episode of The Walking Dead started off so cheerfully — with Carol baking and distributing beet and acorn cookies like she was Alexandria’s own Mrs. Fields — that nobody could’ve blamed you if for a minute you’d thought you’d tuned in to the wrong show. But, of course, by the end of the hour, disaster once again had struck our regulars, some harder than others. Which of them wound up in a situation that not even snack food could improve? Read on…

Britt Nilsson charmed her way into the hearts of the Bachelor Nation – and nearly the Bachelor himself, Chris Soules, on season 19 of The Bachelor. Now Britt hopes to begin her own journey to love as the next Bachelorette.
I am still not quite sure if this is all a dream. There's a part of me that is still waiting to wake up to my life back to normal … waiting tables, sitting in traffic, talking with my girlfriends about life and love. There's another, more analytical part of me that is processing the fact that my life has definitely changed forever.

From the Queen Vic to the Tardis. As Eastenders prepares to mark its 30th anniversary, we look back at its encounters with Doctor Who...
Back in the mid-eighties an actor who played "Third Assistant" in a Doctor Who story called The Savages (1966) and the director of another Doctor Who adventure, The Underwater Menace (1967), came together to create one of the BBC’s most successful television shows.
And when they got together, it was murder. Well, not quite. (Though the first episode did feature a victim who would later die, fact fans.) But what they did create was Eastenders.
Broadcast on February the 19th 1985 (in between episodes one and two of The Two Doctors), this creation of Who alumni would go on to share numerous links with the long-running science-fiction for years to come. Even its time-slot owes much to the adventures of everyone’s favourite Gallifreyan.

A couple of nights ago, the New York Film Festival kicked off at Lincoln Center, with a starry, splashy premiere - "Gone Girl," the long-awaited adaptation of Gillian Flynn's best-selling mystery (there were more than 3.5 million copies in print in the first year the book was published). Everyone was there, including stars Ben Affleck (who took some good-natured ribbing about his upcoming role as Batman during the post-film Q&A) and Rosamund Pike and director David Fincher. But the real star was, of course, the movie.
"Gone Girl," for those precious few who haven't read the book, concerns the disappearance of a beautiful wife (Pike) and the media scrutiny that zeroes in on her charming husband (Affleck). Did he murder her? Was she kidnapped? Or is there something altogether stranger going on? These are the questions that swirl around "Gone Girl," and as directed by Fincher ("Seven," "Zodiac," "The Social Network...

Fans of legendary author H.P. Lovecraft know how closely the ideas of sound, music and strange vibrations are woven into his literary works – from the supernatural serenade called forth in "The Music of Erich Zann" to the sonic “resonator” that opens a dimensional portal in From Beyond. Many musicians have tapped into Lovecraft's tales for inspiration – sometimes purely for fun, as in the case of Re-Animator: The Musical, co-produced for the stage by another horror icon, Stuart Gordon. As you know, Gordon's long association with Lovecraft's work began in earnest with the 1985 classic Re-Animator, and includes a memorable episode of the Showtime series Masters of Horror: “Dreams in the Witch House.” That same tale, which Lovecraft penned in 1932, is now the basis of an epic rock opera produced in association with the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society. While Gordon is not involved in this project, it does feature one...

If you’ve been following our coverage of NBC‘s Revolution Season 2, which premieres tonight, you may have noticed some creepiness working its way in to the videos. We expected a bit of Monroe-type bad guy creepiness in the new season, and you’ll see that in the first TV spot below, which showcases a new sort of preamble to the constitution, accompanied by a very haunting version of the national anthem.
But the second TV spot includes hints at a different kind of creepiness, the kind that comes when we’re told that the laws of physics have changed, and the phrase “you were chosen” is used…

No Turning Back by Andy Deane
(DarkFuse)
“Sometimes people can be monsters too.”
After seeing her family brutally massacred, the only survivor is taken captive by the men responsible for their deaths. She fights for her life and finds help in the form of five unsuspecting friends who are heading into the woods for a quiet weekend.
Now the murderers have them all in their sights. They will stop at nothing to see them dead.
But these are no ordinary killers…they are something much more terrifying.
“No Turning Back” wasn’t what I expected it to be when I first started reading it. I thought it was going to be just another generic backwoods, hillbilly mutant story but Andy threw in a nice twist that really took me by surprise.
A girl watches as her entire family is brutalized and murdered by a group of men and is taken captive.

Ever since Iron Man in 2005, Marvel has been known for after credit sequences. In The Avengers they started doing Mid-Credit sequences because I guess they realized the general public (geeks excluded) doesn’t want to wait 30 minutes to see a 5 second clip.
The Amazing Spider-Man followed suit.
Spoilers Below
Dr. Curt Connors is in a darkened cell when out of nowhere a shadowy figure appears and asks Dr. Connors, if he’s told Peter about his father. Instantaneously the fuse was lit. People speculated on who this man could and alas most people thought it was the man behind Oscorp Mr. Norman Osborne himself.
But in an interview with Ain’t It Cool News, Mr. Rhys Ifans put those theories to rest.
Capone: Okay, what do you think about that ending?
Ri: Well, Connors is basically locked up in a very high-security mental institution.

It's time to belt up and belt out a song as Clip joint climbs into the driving seat to pick our favourite singing in the car clips
There is nothing more liberating than being in a car, hearing a song you love, cranking up the radio and singing your heart out. Something about that combination of open road and closed-off environment let's us sing without inhibition – nailing those high notes in our own mobile performance booth.
In the movies placing an actor behind the wheel mid-sing-song bumps the story into fifth gear, speeding us on the fast track to the heart of a character. What they are singing, how they sing it and who they're singing with – it's a film-maker's moment to unfold the narrative map and say "Hey! this is where we're at, and this is where we're heading next." For the audience it's also a moment of recognition.

Without a doubt, 2010 was a big year for Andrew Garfield. Along with his outstanding supporting role in the critically acclaimed Oscar darling The Social Network, he was equally impressive in the powerful Never Let Me Go. To top it all off, he also landed the role of Spider-Man in Marc Webb’s reboot of the web slinging franchise. However, don’t try and get any straight answers from him about the role itself. When asked about taking over this immensely popular role, he tells Details, "I see it as a massive challenge in many ways. To make it authentic. To make the character live and breathe in a new way. The audience already has a relationship with many different incarnations of the character. I do, as well. I'm probably going to be the guy in the movie theater shouting abuse at myself. But I have to let that go. No turning back.
