Fabien de la Drôme

I don't remind this series, unlike ARDECHOIS COEUR FIDELE, which with you can confound easily and made ten years earlier. Same kind of adventure series set in deep mountain French countryside, just after the Revolution. If you can an imagine a western like plot in 1790's, with a good lead hero, villains and action packed, then you get what this TV show looks like. I expected far worse, a cheesy story, predictable with lame dialogues and situations, but not at all. It is really worth the watch, gritty, pretty violent and seven episodes is not too long to bear. Bernard Fresson is excellent as an ambitious, ruthless politician, disgusting at the most.
