Flies on Cupid

This is the type of film any group of creative friends would love to be let loose to make. It's like the Coen brothers run amok in L.A.! I was either laughing my head off or staring at the screen with my chin dropped. Hilarious!!

The writer(s) did a great job of mixing the humor and suspense. The movie wore us out. We thoroughly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good comedy/drama. I would never in a million years give away the ending, but I can tell you it shocked the daylights out of me. Are there any other movies by the same writers?

What can I say about Flies on Cupid? I thought it was an interesting movie; I can't say that I've seen anything like it before. It was definitely a new storyline compared to same-old, same-old Hollywood plots. The plot had many unexpected twists and turns that kept me watching. There were several plot lines running simultaneously that pieced together nicely in the end. The end was definitely quite the jaw-dropping surprise.

The humor throughout the film was entertaining. My favorite lines spattered throughout the film referred to the out-of-work actors not being able to get any acting jobs. Hilarious! Also, you'll think twice about those "adorable" Kewpie dolls in the future! As far as the acting goes, Morgan Daniel, Linda Kim and Shane Conrad carry the movie. I thought they did a terrific job looking believable as their characters.
