Recensioni in evidenza
I love this movie also the parts where Awoogah becomes an alarm clock. In the trailer, when the farm animals are cheering, I could only hear Miss Prissy saying "Go, Tweety!" and it sounded like Granny and Clarabelle Cow from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (2006-2016). I believe June Foray or April Winchell voiced Miss Prissy in this movie because June Foray voiced Lucifer, Karen from Frosty the Snowman (1969), Cindy Lou Who, and Granny from 1955-2014 and April Winchell voiced Clarabelle Cow in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Terk in The Legend of Tarzan. I believe April Winchell played Miss Prissy or maybe...June Foray.
Tweety's High-Flying Adventure (2000) is a straight-to-video Looney Tunes movie with Tweety Bird and Sylvester and it is the worst Looney Tunes movie I've watched so far.
Positives for Tweety's High-Flying Adventure (2000): Tweety and Sylvester are pretty good as the main characters. The character of Aoogah is kind of interesting with her loud scream. The slapstick humor is decent enough here. And finally, the movie is short and gets to the point very quickly.
Negatives for Tweety's High-Flying Adventure (2000): This movie has the weakest and most pointless story for an Looney Tunes movie and it is boring. I didn't care about the romance between Tweety and Aoogah. The subplot with the children's park felt tacked on. The animation for the various cities and locations looks poopy. And finally, the movie feels like it was a short that was stretched out.
Overall, Tweety's High-Flying Adventure (2000) is the worst Looney Tunes movie I've watched.

Out of all the Looney Tunes possible, Tweety deserve a chance in a adventure. He gets to go on a bet to save a park made by Col. Rimfire. Granny(June Foray) is always confident on what Tweety can do, but beware of Sylvester The Cat, he always had his beady eyes on that canary, however when Tweety had to get 80 paw-prints, Sylvester must prevent the other cats from having him. Going from country to country is a risky, yet fun task for Tweety, then he meets this other lady canary named Aoogah! Sounds funny, but that's her name. She helps a lot through the trek and keeps Sylvester at bay. Other than that conniving feline, there's this thief who stole a Royal Passport resembles The Shropshire Slasher! He gets the passport, but should kept track on where he places his fish-n-chips. Friends and foes sing along, but it's always the hero who makes all the way. If it hasn't been for Aoogah, Tweety would have tasted defeat, and would have been chow for Sylvester. If it haven't been for Sylvester, Tweety would have been chow for the other cats. A very fun, but moving cartoon, way too fun for commercial interruptions. I don't need that. Rating 5 Stars!
As another reviewer noted - with the jumbled cities in the different countries. This story missed a great teaching lesson to children on geography. It actually hinders a child's geographical knowledge. A real shame. The story skipped along too fast on more interesting scenarios in favor of less interesting ones that it seemed to drag on. The script wasn't sharp and up to feature length standards. So is more suitable for kids than adults.
I found it very annoying that so many of the flying scenes and even scenes on the ground showed Tweety without his passport which had to be with him at all times to have it stamped by the consul representative and of course the required 80 cat paw signatures. Terrible continuity on that. The passport appeared and disappeared at will so many times. Tweety just wasn't all that character driven - we didn't' see him flex his acting muscles as he does in his better cartoons. I'm an adult fan of animation. I would not view this a second time, barely held some of my interest.

I have to admit, while this movie has bland animation and plotholes, I found this movie somewhat enjoyable. It is a breath of fresh air for Tweety to have his own movie when usually it's Bugs or Daffy that has their own movie. The songs were pretty good, the relationship between Tweety and Awoogah was surprisingly heartwarming, and Sylvester's determination to catch Tweety and the difficulties that came were amusing. The biggest flaw of this movie is that Tweety's adventures felt too rushed from going to Paris, Rome, Egypt, Tibet and to Australia all in less than 80 days and somehow getting the paw prints from all those cats which doesn't seem feasible. It also baffles me how Sylvester could be in all those places and knew where Tweety was going at all times. It also felt like the characters didn't get any development or enough screentime. One character comes and the other goes, like with Taz and Sam. Overall, this is a forgotten Looney Tunes movie that is enjoyable for certain audiences.
