Witty. Genuine. Hear touching. It made Pawan Kalyan an actor. His character looks real and reletable. Good Direction.

A lot of love stories tend to focus on making major life sacrifices for the sake of love, but this movie sends a really positive message about love and how to view it. The emotions, comedy, and drama all work to provide a good love story which is of good quality. This movie stands out as one of Pawan Kalyan's best performances, he was really at his peak at the time with Tholi Prema, Thammudu, and Kushi. Keerthy gave a really convincing performance and the comedy was spot on. The relationships between each character were picturized and designed quite well. Karunakaran's best work, no doubt about it.

Family of the boy and girl plays a key role in the film making it real and close to our heart. These days we dont even know who the girl parents are she just says in one dialogue about them, but in this movie the revealing of her life is beautiful. How the girl values relations and why she is the way she is we will understand. Same with the guy, we do understand him his brothers,sister,grandfather everyone. It is a beautiful journey to travel with the characters in the film coz they are all so beautiful even Balu's friends. Such a sweet and honest movie it is with lovely music. So refreshing and climax is inspiring too.

'Tholiprema', means first love. Its the true love which happens only once in everyone's lives. This film belongs to the elite list of the modern telugu classics. 'Tholiprema' showcases love, friendship, romance and family in its purest form. Watching this film takes you back to the beautiful India of 1990's. Trust me you will never want the film to end as you start to live inside the film, that's the magic of 'Tholiprema'. After the film's end note, expect to have a heavy heart with an inner rejuvenation.

Director Karunakaran, i have heard he is a painter and if that is correct then this film is his best art till date.

This film ran for 365 days and i remember it was released second time even, such was its popularity.

I remember my brother and his friends who used to go and watch this movie almost every other day in 1998 when it ran in theaters.

This is the best film ever in south India...Nobody denies this if you watch it...really fantastic story line and pawan kalyan is simply amazing.... and Balu character is simply made for pawan kalyan....hope we will get some more films like Tholiprema,Nuvvu Naaku Nachav,Kushi,Manmadhudu.. in future....Now these days tollywood lacks of best films like these....hope directors will concentrate on this to give a nice entertainment to the viewers.... and Nice to see IMDb with all database from Relangi to Sharon Stone...main story is a person who always enjoys the life and not caring about studies and seriousness in life will change the whole thing when he meets a girl Anu. then his life changes when he realizes that he is loving her...climax is so brilliant..this is the best climax i have seen ever...

The excellent movie in Telugu one of the best classic movies of Indian movies.It deals with all categories of love friends family sentiment.i have watched for more than 10 times in the theater.i was the best directed and acted movie.comedy also is good in this movie.it is simply perfect movie for youth which resembles their first love and the film totally deals first love of a person.we have enjoyed a lot.the music in the film is superb.Hats-off to Director Karunakaran for giving us an excellent movie.which rocked the youth.one of top 5 movie all the time.it made the people ran to the theaters to watch again and again.we have enjoyed a lot during the film.Pawan acted well and performance rocks in the film i have not seen this kind of movie after that or before to this movie.

Pure directors film.And this film breaked many usual norms of tollywood films. Pk the Stardom which he is enjoying today is because of Tholiprema. I have great respect to this Film.How many times u watch this film still feels fresh...

A marvelous film i ever sawed such a wonderful love story

No one can pull off Keerthi Reddy's performance in this movie today. May be except Anushka Shetty. No one re-create the freshness of this film. No one can emulate what PSPK did on screen. No one can match the highlight scenes executed by Karunakaran. No one can even come closer to the tunes and lyrics that went into the music for this movie. There won't be an other Toliprema. Hence sit back and enjoy.

Wonderful film forever. Love, family, friends, fun with sentiment is superb.

It is a masterpiece movie.. Many goosebumps scenes...and feel good movie.

I think this movie will be my heart to ever and forever .

So this is my humble opinion.

You can't find a flaw in this movie. Showcases pure love and honesty, excellent comedy and makes you feel constant anticipation on when and how the actor reveals his feelings to his love and concludes with an excellent climax. Characters with such pure humanness portrayed by the actors in this movie are becoming more and more rare in this materialistic real world. Most hollywood, bollywood or movies from other industries dont come close to this movie. Everyone's acting is also in pure form. Watched the movie 5 times and shed tears each time. One of the 3 movies that led to Pavan Kalyan's powerful rise to stardom. Must watch!

Highest money maker of Telugu films film Industry till date of this movie release ... Love story that won many hearts n still inspires many love stories especially in South part of India .... Love that which is pure,selfless and never want to be on negative side but rather wants to be the positive side n supportive to reach their individual goals.
