Pawan Kalyan, the Og star of Tollywood, who now is the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is always praised for his dynamic personality and is known for his speeches.

The actor was seen expressing his appreciation for books and how they transformed his life during the 35th Vijayawada Book Fair inauguration at the Indira Gandhi Sports Ground.

Pawan Kalyan stated that his love for books began in Class VII and credited Rabindranath Tagore for inspiring him, as Tagore himself never attended school and learned everything at home.

Pawan Kalyan unveiled the book ‘Pv Narasimha Rao’s Literary Life’ by A Krishna Rao. He revealed that his love for literature was cultivated early by his parents, which influenced and shaped his life. His father created a love for reading classics, while his mother encouraged devotional reading, sparking his passion for books.

Telugu star Varun Tej, who is all set to make his Bollywood debut with ‘VT13’ opposite Manushi Chillar, was recently spotted in Mumbai in a completely new look and seemed like it is from his upcoming project.

He has not made clear, though, if this look is from his ‘Vt 13’ or another upcoming project. Varun Tej is known for films such as ‘Kanche’, ‘Fidaa’, ‘Tholi Prema’ and ‘Gaddalakonda Ganesh’.

Opening up about his new look curated by celebrity stylist Aalim Hakim, Varun said: “It was a wonderful experience to be in Mumbai and meet some of my fans. I am overwhelmed by all the love that I have been receiving and can’t wait to take my audiences by surprise very soon.”

‘VT13’ is a bilingual Telugu-Hindi action drama based on the Indian Air Force. Varun Tej essays the part of an Air Force pilot in the film.

Meanwhile, Sai Dharam Tej has two other films on hands needing his attention. While director Karunakaran will be wielding the megaphone for a romantic flick which will have him in the lead, he also the Chandrashekar Yeleti directorial in his kitty. A Karunakaran began his career with the 1998 hit movie Tholi Prema, which had the Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. Since then he had been sharing a good rapport with the Chiranjeevi family and that paved way for his association with Sai Dharam Tej who happens to be Chiru and Pawan Kalyan’s nephew. The film has got good reviews and the young actor is all set to move over to his next with a positive mindset. Reports say that his next will be a space thriller and the team would be flying down to shoot a major portion of the film in Georgia. Importantly, Varun Tej and the others in the star cast will have to work in zero-gravity conditions and are getting trained for it. Sources close to the film unit revealed that the training session will be held in Kazakhstan and the actors would be stationed there for some weeks to get accustomed to it. The prep work to get this yet to be titled film is on. The team is expected to go on the floors with it in April with plans in place to release it later this year. Sankalp Reddy will be helming this project as its director. It may be mentioned here that Tholi Prema, which made it to the silver screen a few days ago won Varun Tej accolades for his performance. With story, screenplay and direction by Alluri Venky, the film has been bankrolled by B. V. S. N. Prasad under his banner Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and was distributed by ace producer – distributor Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Films which got the film the much-needed mileage. Chennai, March 25: Vasanth Dayakar says his Telugu directorial debut "Tholi Prema Katha", releasing in cinemas Friday, has been made thanks to funds contributed by around 25 of his friends.

"Nearly 25 close friends pitched in to help me complete this film. I'm extremely thankful to them because had it not been for them, my film would still in the script form. It's an entertaining love story made on a shoestring budget," Vasanth told Ians.

Vasanth's film will lock horns with Balakrishna-starrer big-budget film "Legend" Friday.

"We are competing with 'Legend' because we don't know if we will get another week.

The influence of South Indian cinema on Hindi over the years had gradually increased to a whole new level today. In the 90s you simply got accustomed to faces like Nagarjuna and Rajnikanth whose films without fail got dubbed in Hindi. However, come the millennium and the selling of your remake rights and the subsequent acquiring of it by a maker in Hindi cinema has become one of the most prominent business transactions in Indian cinema. We are no longer satisfied with dubbed versions of their films nor are many of the Si makers looking to release such versions of their films.
