The Sacred Order

In this, the 14th episode of the serial The Mystery of Dr. Fu Manchu, the Devil Doctor sends one of his minions to Nayland Smith's place of work to trick him into thinking he'll have his boss on a platter. He shows the Scotland Yard employee the decoration of the Sacred Order of the White Peacock to confirm his intentions. Smith, thinking something's afoot, secretly gives that decoration to Dr. Petrie who's in the room with him. Smith then leaves with the minion. Petrie then investigates Smith's disappearance after several hours...This was another exciting episode of this silent serial though, as with most of these entries, I wish there was a music score playing. Still, I'm now intrigued to see how the whole thing ends as I watch the 15th, and final, ep of this serial...
