The people who rate this show highly (or even say that Joe is more deserving of the NAACP award than Judge Mathis) are disgusting. He doesn't let people finish what they have to say, and he stereotypes black people who grew up in the hood.... Even though he's been through divorce, and has said nasty things about women. You're no better, Joe Brown. Black people who support this black-eyed animal are just as bad as Candace Owens herself!
Don't say #BLM while you're supporting someone like Joe Brown. I wonder how long this show would've lasted if he was a white judge.

Unlike the other court TV judges, Judge Joe Brown seems more like the classic doleful, stalwart personality, that must of us associate with someone who is a judge.
Though he's a bit foreboding, Judge Joe Brown is more Ike a stern, yet concerned father figure. His motto, is that he's 'protecting woman-hood, and promoting man-hood'. Like Judge Judy, he often administers his brand of tough-love to litigants who are on the losing end of his judgments. He often tells losing male litigants, to 'man-up, pay-up, and grow up.'
If you like the fiery courtroom style of Judge Judy, then Judge Joe Brown may not be your cup of tea. Judge Joe Brown exudes a dignified, low-key essence. He wants to get to the truth, and he does so by stealth, shrewd question of the litigants, and his uncanny ability to see through any BS. He seldom loses his temper, no matter how exasperated he gets with his litigants.
Judge Joe Brown, is a good, but not great court TV program. His show can be boring at times. And he should ad more sparkle to his personality to help liven-up this show.

I really enjoy his political views. The shows good. It just blends in with the other judge shows, never finds it's own path. It's basically another judge show nothing special on that end. What makes the show worth watching is Joe brown. He has slick come backs that can be entertaining. He can be a bit long winded but seems fair. He does seem to cut people off but still comes off as a fair judge. It's a fair show at the end of the day and it has the same fault as all these judge shows it's just bland the same old stale court format one of the og court shows. It's worth a watch if nothing else is on.
I just watched an episode of Judge Joe Brown were a young black guy stole a white ladies ATM card. His defense was "I don't remember it" the Judge threw the case out for ins evidence!!!!! Really, and there's all the racist talk!! Well that's a two way street. He treated that lady very rudely, even calling the young man out for being drunk!!! I will not watch another episode!! Promoting manhood yea he done a great job of setting that young man on the right track go ahead steal an ATM card it's all good!!!! Makes me sick!!!! I've seen him all over young white men for basically the same things. And what more evidence did she need?? The young man came into her house, left, the card was gone & several charges where made and several ATM withdrawals were made. When ask his reply was "I don't remember" after confessing to having an alcohol problem!! Get it together whats fair for one should be fair for the other!!!!
I like watching "Judge Joe Brown" because it is very entertaining & very worthy of my time. What I like about this show is that this was the very first Court show to have an African American male as the judge. I even like when he puts people in check when they get caught doing horrible things like being trifling, stealing from others, being a horrible example & some other things. I remember watching episodes of this show on my local Fox station which was WBFF Fox 45 & I even seen reruns of this show on Bounce TV. It's really good. I especially like seeing either Jacque Kessler or Jeanne Zelasko reporting the events of what goes on during the cases & I even liked when Rolonda Watts announced for this show especially when she once said "Ooh! Bad Girls you love to hate! Today on "Judge Joe Brown"." I especially like the special episodes of this show which are "Bad Boys", "Bad Girls" & "Man Up". I like that Judge Joe Brown also teaches people how to take accountability for their actions as well as make fair rulings. It's also cool when he makes $50/$100 assessments to those who misbehave in his courtroom. I know that this might also trigger some folks but I happen to think that this show is better than "Death Battle" even though I know that NONE of them relate to each other but it's called having a preference. I also like "Judge Joe Brown" just as much as I like "Divorce Court", "Judge Hatchett", "Judge Mathis", "Judge Alex", "Lauren Lake's Paternity Court" & some others.
