Olangal

Masoom, that has been so much appreciated through the decades is actually a remake of this superbly original Malayalam movie. The original was cruelly left out to be honored.

I saw the comments for the movie Masoom and decided it was unfair not to comment on the original.

Olangal is a beautiful movie based on family and its values. It is about a family that goes through crisis due to infidelity by one of its members. The movie portrays how delicate and at the same time, strong, a family can be.

Its casting and direction, just superb. Its definitely worth watching.

Amol palekar , his performance is just stunning. The songs are superb. Especially the "thumbi va".
