The storyline keeps you entertained, and the acting is a perfect 10 out of 10. What I like most is how fast-paced the plot is, and the intense battle between doing what is right and the thirst for revenge. Of course, love always wins in the end. Colorina is a remarkable love story that originally aired in 1980. It premiered on Canal 2 but was soon moved to a smaller TV channel, as Mexican society at the time wasn't accustomed to stories that dealt with strong themes like prostitution and surrogacy. However, Colorina quickly proved to be extremely successful and was returned to the main channel. Televisa found that most sponsors followed the telenovela, advertising during its broadcast at a lower cost. Colorina has every element to be successful, love, romance, an personal improvement story, and an amazing transformation from the leading characters. The music played reminds me of time where songs had a true meaning. I love the main song Colorina sang by Spanish singer Camilo Sesto.
