Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt stunned her friends and fans with a video that shows her lifting 70 kilos.

Alia had posted two videos on Instagram story where she can be seen lifting weights and flaunting her jumping skills.

The "Udta Punjab" actress completed 10 sets of 50-kilo deadlifts and also did the two-feet box jump 50 times.

On the acting front, Alia will next be seen in "Brahmastra" alongside her rumoured beau Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. The film, a fantasy adventure, is directed by Ayan Mukerji.

She is currently busy shooting for "Sadak 2", which marks the return of her father Mahesh Bhatt as director, 20 years after he helmed his last feature, "Kartoos". "Sadak 2" also features Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur.

Though swamped with the current schedule of Brahmastra in Varanasi, Alia Bhatt recently kickstarted Sadak 2 schedule.?

After an extended look test with Alia, the team opted to go with a no-makeup look for her. The actress had earlier donned a no-makeup look in films like Highway, Udta Punjab and Raazi.

According to a source, ?It?s a powerful story which leaves a lot of heavy lifting to be done by Alia. For the first schedule, the actress will don a naked look on her face. For the first few days of the shoot, she was ready in 25 minutes speeding up the work on the shoot. They were, in fact, able to finish a lot more scenes than they hoped for before she left for Brahmastra.?

The last time he wore the hat of a film director was in 1999, with the film "Kartoos". Since then, Mahesh Bhatt has nurtured many new talents in Bollywood. As the veteran gears up for his new directorial venture "Sadak 2", he says that the movie is not his 'comeback' film as director.

"Sadak 2" is the sequel to the 1991 film "Sadak".

"I have never thought that I will come and direct a film like 'Sadak 2' after 20 years, but you know, I am not intending to call it my second innings or a new beginning as a filmmaker. It just happened... I do not know what tomorrow brings but I am certainly not getting into that phase with lots of scripts where I will keep on directing films," Bhatt told Ians here.

Mumbai, Dec 24: Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and actress Soni Razdan's youngest-born Alia Bhatt has gone from the baby of the family to the babe of Bollywood in no time at all. The 20-year-old now has an impossible dream.
