LOVE GODDESSES is one of many compilation films made up of stag loops, in this case Swedish Erotica films. However, Joe Robertson did a poor job of picking his source material, and a worse job of overwhelming it with irritating new footage.
Unwieldy framing devices is 2 gods on a bargain-basement outdoor Olympus set: William Margold as Lord Samuel and an untalented young Black dude as Lord Leroy. They sit on chintzy thrones as the lovely Jennifer West (needs a new agent, and quickly!) and two unattractive girls give them blow jobs or play with their limp dicks. In later reels these two schlubs hump the women.
In between, the cast of five argue about who deserves to be called a love goddess on Earth - Will it be Seka or Aunt Peg = Juliet Anderson? At one point Desiree Cousteau's name is dropped in as a potential candidate, but all that matters is that we watch tedious stag loops starring the two actresses. Both old and new footage is terminally boring, and the stags repetitively feature John Holmes and Jamie Gillis over and over. Running joke is that West has trouble pronouncing the name Gillis -haw haw haw.
Any film featuring William Margold is likely to be a stinker (I would say his batting average is well south of 0.050) and LOVE GODDESSES is among his worst.
