Camp Blood

Apparently the writer and director of this direct-to-DVD slasher movie is a fan of Friday 13th and other summer camp slashers. This movie has everything - a group of teenagers who want to spend the weekend with fun, alcohol and sex in an abandoned summer camp called "Camp Blood", the old man who warns them not to go there; and of course the crazy killer with the machete who keeps on slashing and hacking at the teenagers without any reason at all... The whole thing could have worked if it had been shot on 35 mm film with acceptable Special Effects. But instead the Special Effects are poorly done. The killer walks around as if he's out on a Sunday afternoon stroll, and the only good things about this movie are the acting of the talented main actress and the sex scene at the beginning. Where oh where can I start?!?!

First off... I won't even attempt talking about the plot... as others have...

This is the WORST movie I've ever seen!! BUT IT'S SO GOOD!!! It's so bad... and cheezy... and cheap, that's it's the best movie I've seen in forever!!!

The director must have known the actors like as friends, because... who would pick those people?!?! I mean, REALLY! The lead girl.. is NOTHING like stars look now... She's.. just.. not a star looking person.. LOL. And you know how movies are now, and her boyfriend looks like a model.. perfect body.. it's just weird!!

And JAY.... Played by Tim Young.. is... ADORABLE! But so stupid!!! He really is cute... I won't say anymore.. lol

And, err... how exactly did lead girl know that that girl was Harris's girlfriend!?!? No one told her...

But really... I have no idea what happened at the end. It MADE NO SENCE. IT MADE NO SENCE. It confused me, bad... First, like let's say Mulholland Dr. has done, had characters being different people, because someone dreamed or imagined it all.. that's what I thought at first!! But... then... I mean I don't know.. was it the same people, just playing different roles, because the budget was SO CHEAP!? Couldn't they have got a few people who didn't care about money to do that minute of filming?? Oh well...

It doesn't make sence, but still, I liked the movie! But really, the only reason I liked it is because Tim Young is cute, probably...

Well, I give it a 7/10 for fun value!!

Well, what can i say. Lame. A group of kids go to a camp to get away for the weekend, but along their journey they are warned by a strange man on the roadside of a 'mysterious' clown who lurks in the woods surrounding the camp. There are only six characters in the whole film, so we are really spoilt for choice as to who the killer is going to be. I love to watch movies like this, simply because of the comedy factor. The acting is terrible, the music is out of place with the scenes, and the blood is orange. Bloody brilliant.

Not even good in a bad way. Group of adults head out to a camp site called Camp Blood (?!?!?) where lots of murders have occurred in the past for a little fun and excitement. Well guess who shows up with a big pointy shiney knife? So bad and so low budgeted the actors had to play more then one role in the film! The sex scenes in the film come off laughable and the violence in the film is your basic stuff you can do at home yourself. If you are looking for a Friday the 13th. rip-off stick with The Burning instead. N/R; Violence and Sexual Situations.

I am a true Horror fan, if it's low budget ive probably seen it as well. i can understand that people out there who are the same as me, don't mind bying low budget horrors, with slightly wonky cameras, bad, bad acting, so when i bought this i new it was going to be like all the other really lame horror flicks id'd seen, but somehow still enjoyed, but please please pooolease, let me warn you, stay away from this utter crap, it is really bad, even the actors are laughing at themselves, bad picture, orange blood, just watch the beginning where the blond climbs over the twig, and then falls down in the stream, it's the most insulting piece of rubbish ive ever seen.

Think of your friends, a camera and you laughing, that's how bad
