Waste of time

A below average social drama has nothing great to offer. Directorial effort is just routine. In acting department, Manoj Kumar looks handsome but delivers an average performance. Nanda is good in role of an oppressed lady. Lalita Pawar is excellent. She is powerful as a cruel lady in the first half of the movie and a remorseful lady in second. Mehmood provides some fresh breath of air together with Shubha Khote. Especially a few scenes wherein they both swap their responsibilities at home; Mehmood plays a housewife and Shubha Khote plays head of the family. Raj Mehra and Shashikala are good. Roshan's music is awful. Forget it.
