In this movie, the narrator-character looks back to his youth during the 1930's or WWII period, which was a time of great interest to the director, Mario Salieri. There is a big and varied cast, this was an ambitious movie for Salieri. The camera work is very good and evocative. Viewers who are not familiar with Salieri should know, he often favors rather dark lighting, though in my opinion this does not distract from the scenes.

Selen has several scenes and she looks terrific, very sexy indeed. The other women in the cast are also good, though Selen is the big star here.
