"You've Been Framed" should have been killed off many years ago when Jeremy Beadle left. Lisa Riley and Johnathan 'I'm mates with Robbie Williams' Wilkes really drove it to rock bottom with increased unnecessary presenting from the studio with incredibly corny jokes. This left precious little time for any actual clips making the show unwatchable.
Harry Hill has saved the show to some extent by removing the studio element and making a commentary that is nearly always far more entertaining than the clips themselves. There is a definite limit however on the amount of fun that can be got from people falling off swings, getting hit in the groin, dancing embarrassingly at weddings until their trousers fall down, etc. etc. The only clips with any real laughter value are those involving animals as these are generally less set-up. Sadly the number of these is outweighed by spoilt children crying about unwanted Christmas presents or just babies smiling at the camera (side-splittingly hilarious I don't think).
The clips remain the same and are often repeated from many series ago. I noticed they have even started blanking out the year when it appears on the camcorder display, probably because they are too ashamed to admit they came from the late 80's/early 90's. As it is far too many of them are set up and it is tiresomely obvious. You only need to stop and think why somebody would actually be filming that event to spot them.
Harry Hill is wasted here and should concentrate on other projects such as TV Burp which is excellent, indeed the Christmas special was one of the few highlights of the seasonal schedule.

This show is the perfect warm up to a Saturday night- whether that be a night on the town or a night in front of the telly. It appeals to all ages and Harry Hill's excellent banter certainly livens things up for the adults.
This show had lost some of its sparkle when fronted by Lisa Riley and Jonathan Wilkes (both of whom had no presenting experience and is showed), but Harry Hill has managed to not only make this show great again but better than it has been since the days of Beadle.
I love this show and would call it one of the highlights of my weekend, at 24 years of age i have certainly been watching it most of my life and long may it continue.

i would often record the episodes but i've recorded over them now this should of ended after Lisa Riley stopped doing it Jeremy Beadle was great then the show become less good when he stopped the spark has gone it's not that funny anymore so this show will end there were a few good funny clips but not many a lot of them were planned and some got repeated i liked the one where a man spun around so many times he got dizzy and fell onto the barbecue that were cooking and when a girl kicked a ball and there was a big funny noise the one which was dangerous but exciting was there was a bike ride and a small child was on a bike under the person on a bike which was a really stupid thing to do i've stopped watching you've been framed now i miss the harry hill show though
I used to enjoy watching You've Been Framed. But since it decided to take a leaf out of it's American counterpart shows and introduce a very annoying, far from funny commentary on every single clip, it's become unwatchable for me. How anybody can say the scripted nonsense that Harry ruins the show with is beyond me. Next thing we know, we'll have stupid sound-effects dubbed over the clips, like when somebody is jumping up and down we have to hear a cartoonish "Boing Boing Boing" sound dubbed on. If you don't know what I'm talking about, take a look at one of the American equivalent shows. Not funny. Complete rubbish. And for the information of other viewers who's comments I've read above, Jeremy Beadle "stopped doing it" and "left" because he had died.
OK, we've had more than 10 years of this now? it won't get any funnier you know. there's only so many times we can laugh at a cat opening a door, a dog on a skateboard, a child hitting his father in the groin, someone falling into a paddling pool, a diving board breaking or a baby being scared of a jack in a box. Put this miserable show out of its misery soon and let us together condemn Lisa Riley to her true place of T.V anonymity.
It did, however, give Beadle a few more years after Beadle's About which can't be a bad thing.
