This is an enjoyable, off-beat, tongue-in-cheek spoof about kidnapping. Hela (Ewa Gawrylnk), a flaky/likable 18 year old, became pregnant just before her boyfriend Wacek (Marek Cichuchi)deserted her. After she has given up their son for adoption, she learns that Wacek is returning. To surprise and impress him, she, aided by her sister Miki (Monika Bolly), 'borrows' a baby boy from the orphanage. Hela and Wacek get into a successive series of dilemmas as they bumble in harebrained schemes to resolve matters, such as switching the 'borrowed' boy for their own son who now has adoptive parents. The manage to stay one step of the authorities.
