One of the three movies directed by the great talented Fernandel (the others are ,for the record,"Simplet" and "Adhémar Ou Le Jouet De La Fatalité".Talent for directing is disputable as far as Fernandel is concerned;none of these three efforts can be considered achievements.

"Adrien" is perhaps the worst of a bad lot.The screenplay,based on a Theatre -De- Boulevard -style play ,is a true hodgepodge ,with all the usual mistaken identities :husbands ,wives and lovers .Left to their own devices,the actors overplay :for instance,Jane Marken as a De luxe madam cannot stand out in a part tailor-made for her.Only Paulette Dubost plays her game well but to no avail.

The "motor rollerskates " might (or might not) have inspired Hergé for "Coke En Stock" (the red sea sharks) in which Professor Calculus registers the same desire about the aforementioned rollerskates.

There's a song (the first name of the title) ,like in "Ignace" and other Fernandel movies.
