The Great Space Coaster

I am so happy you all commented on the great space coaster. I have been trying to remember the name of that show for years and when I say No gnews is good gnews with Gary gnu nobody remembers it. So thank you for letting me know I wasn't crazy. I wish so much that my kids could see this show I don't know why it isn't in syndication on TV land or something. I wonder if there is anything we can do to get it back on TV or if there is anywhere that sells a video of it. I mostly remember Gary and the flying purple people eater song and a guy with curly hair. I remember having a crush on him. Anyway thank you again for bringing back good memories of my childhood.

i remember the song the most, get on board for the great space coaster, get on board. what a great show that was, i wish i could get a copy of it someway!!!!!! i remember the show being on in the morning time, also remember something along the way of a ship picking people up in the beginning of the show. i try to tell my girlfriend about the show but she is to young, born in 1983....realy wish they still had a show like this one on the air..todays shows are either reality or some strange eating game, the world needs to get happy again. bring back half hour sit-coms please t.v world

This show was extremely creative. Always something new and exciting. Great characters that kids got to know and love. I wish there was a way to see this as an adult. To even be able to show it to our kids. Many people still quote Gary Gnu but have forgotten where he came from. Definitely a hidden gem lost to the ages.

As a kid, I got picked on a lot, and one of the best parts of coming home after a miserable day was sitting down to watch this show; I sat and laughed and felt good about myself for that half hour. I used to wish that there really WAS a Great Space Coaster to take me away. Now that I'm an adult, I feel badly that there isn't a show like this for the young kids; they're left to watch violent cartoons every afternoon, instead of learning something.

I used to watch The Great Space Coaster when I was 5 years old. It's still the greatest show EVER. I've always wondered what the cast members are doing now that the show is over. It was a wonderful show and very well written. I only hope that there will be channels on in the near future that will start airing shows of this magnitude otherwise they may be lost.
