I loved this! I suppose being a huge snooker fan at the time helped a little, but I was also a Robert Lindsay fan too, so it was double helpings of pleasure for me. Give Us a Break was a very much underrated series, that deserved more than the single series it was given.

I think the BBC would do well to remake this series, setting it in the present time so we can see what the two main characters (Lindsay and McGann) are up to now. Did Mo (McGann) ever make it to become a pro player and stay the course I wonder?
