Why? Just why?

This movie is so mediocre that one can only assume it was made as a fast money project with a shoestring budget. The characters are speaking with a nonspecific accent accept for the guy who obviously is NOT southern, but yet it was felt necessary to make him speak with the worst example of a southern man. This movie is meant to be forgotten, but I will never be able to unhear just how bad, ignorant, and offensive that stupid southern accent is.
