Suzie Superstar II

John Leslie is a manager, looking for a new girl after Suzie left him in part 1. Part 1 was made 2 years earlier and starred Shauna Grant as Suzie. Leslie's assistant, played well by Ron Jeremy, is looking for girls that might qualify. Traci Lords turns up and Leslie is very charmed by her capacities, both in bed and as a singer.

This sequel is still well made, with an obvious bigger budget than most other porn productions. Still, the humour is not as convincing as in the original. And what is more: the sex scenes in the original fitted neatly into the story. In this sequel they don't fit and are seemingly just thrown in for good measures. Take the nudist camp scene for instance. The circumstances leading to that scene are highly illogical, and the eagerness of the girls and Jeremy and Silvera are actually fully out of place.

The acting on the other hand is not bad. Ginger Lynn and John Leslie act good, but they are surpassed by Ron Jeremy, proofing he is an actor really. Traci Lords is singing a lot in this movie. But either she simply can not sing, or her singing is serving as a spoof. If the latter is the case, than quite a lot of music had better been cut, before releasing this movie.

Still I consider this movie to be one of the better porn movies, produced in the Golden Age of porn: the 70's. Should you dislike porn, then get another film, otherwise: enjoy! I rate this flick a 6 out of 10.

The original featured Shauna Grant who was terrific in her role as Suzie Mitchell. But alas Shauna committed suicide so in this sequel they replaced Shauna with the new Queen of Porn Traci Lords. Now we all know what happened in July 1986 but before she was outed as underage Traci dominated the porn world. Her videos outsold all other starlets and she earned BIG$ despite her claims in her 2003 autobiography Underneath it All that she made $35K to $40. This figure was verifiably untrue.

John Leslie plays the initial agent who invites Traci on to his boat for a "meeting". Before that Leslie enjoys the delectable Heather Wayne in the shower and locker room floor of his club. Leslie's driver/ass't played by Ron Jeremy calls Traci and then hands the phone to Leslie who makes the appointment with her. Traci hangs up and proceeds to tell her lesbian bedmate that she has a new agent. The guy that handled Suzie Mitchell. Traci and Laurie Smith are naked and Laurie proceeds to lick and suck every part of Traci's magnificent body.

Once on the boat, after a brief audition of her voice, it's time to audition Traci's true talents. With Jeremy and Bunny Blue making out on deck Leslie removes the clothing of a very willing Traci. Current digitalization of this movie provides terrific pixilation so you really see this woman/child in all her fabulous beauty. Leslie gets down to action with Traci and we see all her skills. Fellatio with gusto, missionary and doggie Traci leaves her audience wanting more of her.

And more they get. Later Traci has a musical jam session with guitarist Joey Silvera. While they talk and he plays Traci daydreams what it would be like to have sex on a boat with Joey. The dream sequence does take us to a boat cruising near Catalina Island but private enough so these two porn legends can sex it up in private in the sun and cool breeze off the island. Traci is positively awesome here. She writhes in enjoyment while Joey has his manhood inside her. Her breasts never looked better. Large, full, firm, and with her nipples reacting to the coolness of the weather she goes at it in every position with Joey. For the "money shot" Traci leads Joey to the front of the boat. If you recall the great scene from Titanic where Kate Winslet is on the edge of the front of the ship and Leonardo DiCaprio holds her from behind...well, this was the precursor to that. Traci is buck naked at the front of the boat while Joey is behind her holding onto her while his member pumps her furiously until he comes on her ass and back. What made Traci so compelling? It wasn't just her fully formed body and youthful beauty topped off by her large firm breasts but her noises were signature as well. Finally though it was her total enthusiasm topped off by what she did in almost every hetero scene she did. When the guy would come Traci would grab the guy's penis and squeeze every drop of love juice out of it while licking it and sucking it. She would also take her hand and rub his love liquid on her backside and or scoop some of it and put it in her mouth so as to taste the guy. All in all very erotic.

There are other scenes that resonate. Leslie and Jeremy get taken out of town and stripped and left to get home by themselves. They happen upon a nudist colony for women and see them playing volleyball. I mean talk about every guy's fantasy huh? They have sex with the girls and then leave to see about getting back to town. They happen upon a brothel where they each get laid. Leslie beds Ginger Lynn looking her usual cute tight bodied self. She services Leslie very well. The rarely seen but gorgeous and tiny April May (Collette Marin) takes Jeremy to her room. April was a smallish girl with very large breasts that were simply very alluring. In the scene it is obvious Jeremy's schlong is way too big for April to take in all the way. But the scene works as she first teases him by rubbing his member on her breasts and nipples and then they go doggie and then missionary before he explodes on her. Eventually Traci gets her singing gig as an old rich power musical exec decides he will take on Traci's career. And that is how Suzie Superstar II ends.

The dream scene between Traci (Suzie) and Joey Silvera (Billy Steele) where she does an all-in-one aboard a sailboat is one of her best in any of her films. The plot of Suzie's rise to singer superstardom is silly, but it's loaded with plenty of sex scenes and her singing is quite good compared to Ginger Lynn's badly dubbed and lip synched music vocals.
