The Secrets of Love

I watched this late-night on cable years ago, because it was made by the director of DAUGHTERS OF DARKNESS. All I could think while watching it is how embarrassed I was for Harry Kumel, sinking so low in his career 15 years after making his masterpiece.

Really there is only one story which I enjoyed. But boy, did I ever enjoy it. I believe the vignette is called the pupil. There are three breast sucking scenes in this vignette. One is especially nice with the whole teacher-pupil aspect being played out wonderfully.

Teacher: Why you silly, they are breasts, and these are nipples, much the same as you suckled when yo were an infant.

Pupil: And why can't I suckle them today?

Teacher: Because you have no real need for them now.

Pupil: May I try? I find I have a sudden thirst for that childhood taste. Then the action begins!

"The spanking" is probably the best movie in the entire series.

At the same time as the erotic tension is strong, the story is vivid and interesting. The servant girl plays a complicated, but amusing game of intrigues which would be worth watching even without the finale.

Erotic costume dramas often become the kind of dull, contrived coyness that "Saturday Night Live" slaughtered so masterly in their late 1980:s parody ( "Tales of Ribaldry", presented by Jon Lovitz ). This movie, on the other hand, is alive, kicking and worthy of being sold in PAL-videoformat. ( It makes you wonder what the war was fought for! )
