Broadcast Bombshells

On its surface, "Broadcast Bombshells" appears to be an entry into the crowded field of soft porn. However, it contains all of the eroticism of a "Nightline" broadcast. The steamy scenes consist of women changing clothes and women and men kissing. For you dominatrix fetish viewers out there (you know who you are) then there is also a scene where one of the women is dressed up in a dominatrix outfit. Of course, the scene goes nowhere with it.

The movie takes place at a news station in an extremely small city. What area the station covers is never revealed. The only insight we're given is that it is an even smaller market than Akron. I guess that would explain the low level of professionalism. Nobody seems to mind that the news people can't even show up to work on time, even when there is a live broadcast going on.

The "plot" consists of the only news story which the station (WSEX-TV, as if that's even remotely original) seems to cover. A mad bomber is going around town leaving incendiary devices in public places. Who is the bomber and why are they doing it? Who cares! This film is not funny, it's poorly acted and directed and is not at all erotic. A real loser all around. 1/10

This isn't what an erotic film should be. This sort of plays out like many campy movies that the channel USA used to play late at night, except they were always edited so we didn't see nudity. Well you don't see much more nudity here. The only reason to watch is for Debbie Rochon.

This movie was okay, but that "crazy basketball guy" was the funniest thing I have ever seen in my whole life!!! Sometimes I'll sit for hours with a bowl of jello and a box of Ritz crackers and watch him dribble that ball over and over and over. Everytime he misses, I laugh just like it's the first time!!
