I've only seen it when it was originally aired (1987), so I can't remember all details. I don't think it has ever been shown ever since. I do remember though that I was very much impressed by the concept shown in the movie (and so were my classmates at the time). What would you do if the world would be empty, no people, due to some form of catastrophe, and only you and some others could do, use, have whatever you want? Shock, wealth, greed, fear, and all other human aspects of the mind follow each other in fast succession. Story is similar to that of the New Zealand movie "The Quiet Earth". I'd be interested if anyone has ever taped "Leere Welt". If so, please leave a comment too so I could contact you. I'd be interested if this movie is still as impressive to me now as it was when I was 14 years old.
