Everyone has to start somewhere and exactly where that place may be is often of pretty dubious quality or (at the very least) rather surprising for some of today’s biggest names in the film industry. For example, we all know Jennifer Aniston had her start with Leprechaun, a film she’d probably rather forget (although we think it’s a lot of fun). Now, with current streaming services pulling all kinds of older films and television shows into their libraries, fans can get the chance to see some of those questionable choices that most likely were made to pay the bills. Here are a few of our favorites:

When you spend enough time in the world of slash fandom, you develop pretty keen senses. I’m not just talking about picking up on those signs that a certain two guys are into each other even though they won’t admit it. No, I mean you can sense when the writers are toying with you.

The first five minutes of Arrow were basically a slash prompt. You think I’m kidding?

Bad Boy Roy finds himself arrested for trying to prevent a truck heist. Newly minted Ada Laurel Lance sits him down to chat about the vigilante and the following line spills out.

“I used to feel the way you do. He has this way of … seducing you.”

I mean, really, that word choice just can’t be accidental.

Poor Felicity.

She went to all that trouble to save Oliver's exercise gizmo and only we happy viewers got to see him in action. She's been too busy acting as Oliver's Gal Friday, as each of our heroic trio struggled with their "Identity" in the new, unimproved Starling City on this edition of Arrow.

Hoodies are all the rage. Red ones, green ones. It's like Christmas. For some reason, I thought Oliver might make an announcement of his new name, but he's still The Hood, and his outfit doesn't seem like it will be in for a makeover any time soon. Would dropping the hood for a hat akin to that Robin Hood wore really fit his style? Probably not.

Black leather and blonde wigs are the fashion of the season for the ladies, and never was it more apparent than in the opening scene that there must be something...

Is this it for Oliver Queen's career as a vigilante hero on "Arrow"? Only two episodes into Season 2, and it looks like Laurel has caught the Hood in an inescapable police net. How does Oliver get out of this? The show won't tell us until next week.

All that we know right now is how Oliver got to a place where Laurel could catch him.

Roy fails this city, but not for lack of trying

While Oliver shows us that a summer on the island hasn't hurt his abs one bit, a truck heist is going down somewhere else in the city. Or it would be, if Roy weren't such a good (and reckless) driver willing to take on machine gun-wielding motorcyclists.

Alas, there's only so much that even Roy can do -- gunfire causes the boy to flip his car. The cops arrest him, and the real bad guys...

After last week’s whirlwind of a premiere, with Oliver returning, Felicity drooling, Laurel fuming, and a mystery woman fighting crime, Arrow’s second episode caught us up on much of what we/Oliver missed when he decided to return to the island. Fresh off NBC’s decision not to move forward with The Munsters revival Mockingbird Lane, Jerry O’Connell will play a lead in How I Met Your Mother executive producer Rob Greenberg‘s untitled CBS comedy pilot.

The former Crossing Jordan star is the final key player to be cast, reports Deadline. He joins House‘s Kal Penn, Monk‘s Tony Shalhoub and Paranormal Activity 3′s Chris Smith in the half-hour, single-camera sitcom, which follows Smith’s ditched groom character as he moves into a short-term housing complex and makes friends with some older, divorced dudes.

And in today's installment of Wtf?! -- Jerry O'Connell, best known to genre fans for his turns in Stand by Me, Sliders, Scream 2, and that goofy old kid superhero show My Secret Identity has been cast as Herman Munster in Bryan Fuller's reboot of The Munsters for NBC. Gene Barry was a suave leading man in films and television from the 1950s. He was best known for his starring role as Dr. Clayton Forrester in George Pal’s 1953 film adaptation of H.G. Wells’ The War of the Worlds. Several years later he again faced alien invaders in the underrated sci-fi film The 27th Day (1956).

He was born Eugene Klass in New York City on June 14, 1919. He began his career as a singer in nightclubs and variety shows, and was appearing on the Broadway stage in the early 1940s. He made his film debut in the 1952 sci-fi/spy thriller The Atomic City.
