Call me an elitist (which I'm not), but I don't usually enjoy this series. The reasons are evident here as well: the acting is taken overboard or is otherwise bad, this feels tedious and an hour longer than it actually is, and, most importantly, the humour doesn't quite do it for me - which is an understatement. But unlike some installations of the franchise, this one isn't painful to watch.
In fact, I was occasionally even amused. There are some surprisingly good lines ("Don't talk outta your arse: those are potatoes!") and better in-jokes, situations and line-delivery than in your average Uuno. Heck, I was amused by the ridiculously bad critic jokes during the concert. "Rysslandia"...
This is by no means a good film, but Spede's directing is much better than that of Kokkonen. He is also in the best scenes (what an ingenious disguise Härski uses, eh?). And I have to admit there's some perverse amusement to be gained from him playing a fridge.

This is a bad movie. There are many reasons why this is a bad movie. One of the most obvious reasons is that it is the twelfth sequel in a movie series that unfortunately does not seem to have an ending. There are some 'untertaining' James Bond-parodies and... well... the number of people who actually gone through voting for this flick says just about it all.
Though, non-Finnish viewers might find it quite interesting as an exhibit of Finnish humor. Not that it is a great example of it, but rather an example of it at its worst.
You have been warned.
