I was only 7 or eight when this show played on Nickelodeon as part of The Third Eye anthology series. I have been looking all over for this and I found a copy on Ebay. The acting and effects are really dated but so what. A fine series, I forgot many of the episodes and it was so good to see them again
It's always a joy to see some of the great's Nick used to play. This drivel on the channel today is not even worth watching if you are under 12. Wish Nick would rerun some of these great shows again.
A side note, Nick only ran the 1st season. I can't wait to watch season 2 and maybe season 3.

I used to watch this TV show back when I was 7. It was on Nickelodeon when the channel had awesome and great programming, instead of crappy cartoons and uninteresting content. But then again, I'm 31, so I suppose I wouldn't like stuff like Rugrats. Anyhow, I used to rush home from school and watch that show all the time. I remember the show was juggled around for a bit on there and it was difficult to find it sometimes. The only thing that I remember these days was how awesome Ron Moody was and the kids in it pushing up through some sort of jelly substance. Anyhow, I would always try and explain it to friends and none of them have ever seen it.
I keep crossing my fingers that they are released on DVD. If the 70's Tomorrow People can make it to DVD, then I have hope for other classic Nickelodeon shows.

...of being young, innocent, and taken by the lack of echoes in these caves! I turned 6 years old in 1981, it definitely spurred me onto an interest in Adventure-based Computer Games, which in turn got me programming in the 80's. At 30, I now make my money programming today.
There was always something clean about the production, maybe because those caves were never caves! Excitement at the eventual chase, the "will they or won't they" factor, and looking forward to the next episode!
Thanks for those memories, at a well-dodgy time for TV!
I deny you, the Nidus!

I am old enough to remember watching the original transmission of this on ITV when it was screened as part of the weekday afternoon children's slot. It was "Awesome" then & now that I finally own it on its Network DVD release it is still "Awesome". Pamela Salem is "Superb" as the evil Belor! For anyone reading these reviews who is trying to find something "Entertaining" "Exciting" & "Different" for their children to watch & enjoy this cannot be recommended enough! These "Wonderful" adventure serials just aren't made anymore. Everything made for children today has to be "Ultra Slick" & "Glossy" but they all miss the "Essential" ingredient which is a "Good Story". You can watch any amount of so called "Dodgy" special effects as long as you have a "Good Story" and that is exactly what "Into The Labyrinth" delivers!!
I really enjoyed every week with the adventures of those 3 children trying to get the "Nilus" (Is it the right name?) and fighting with that wicked witch. The best of all was the travel through the labyrinth. There was something magical about it. I have a good memory about the show and I would like to get a copy of it. Anybody can help?
