Enzo G. Castellari was brought in as an uncredited director for several of the action scenes, as this was Fabrizio De Angelis's first foray as director.
Due to Mark Gregory being proficient in the art of Greco-Roman Wrestling Thunder (1983) continued what would be his trademark, slow motion portions of his fight scenes using no stunt double. He started the slow motion fight scenes in his very first movie 1990: The Bronx Warriors (1982) and continued doing them nearly all the way through his ten movie career
