David life flushes by like a dream. He gets illusions and he quits school. David drug addiction tears the family apart. His mother Len tries everything within her power to get her son off the drugs. Eventually David is treated in the hospital. It is a story about love and helplessness where you can feel the misery of David's life running into an ordinary family. The movie is a typical dutch eighties story where the tensions grow slowly and where everything breaks down as soon as the family finds out what David isn't doing anymore, as what is is supposed to do...
