An Iranian fanatic young Muslim sent to the U.S to kill one of the Iran revolution opposites. When he arrived in the U.S his target killed by another assassin so the clergyman who was in charge of him picked another target to kill. The clergyman said his new target was a Savak (Shah's notorious secret police) colonel. After Tehran confirms his new mission the assassin found the colonel's house and chased him to find an opportunity to complete his mission. The assassin accidentally saved the colonel when 2 young muggers attacked him. The colonel figured out that he is Iranian and invited him as a friend for dinner. The assassin accepted his invitation and visited the colonel's house and be introduced to his children and his sister in law. But the assassin continued chasing the colonel and on an occasion found him at the clergyman's house. He asked the colonel about his relationship with the clergyman and the colonel confessed that he was a Savak colonel and his duty was to recruit some clergymen as the spies for Savak and now the clergyman convert to colonel's enemy because of the clergyman feared the colonel disclose his past relationship with Savak. The colonel said he wrote his diary and wanted to publish that and continued maybe the clergyman hires a professional killer to eliminate him. The assassin doubted about his mission and said to his connector that he wouldn't kill the colonel except Tehran show him some evidence to prove the colonel was in charge of torturing the Shah's opposites. Eventually, he refused to complete his mission and when he wanted to come back to Iran he attacked nearby the airport. The colonel and his sister in law invited to the police station to identify the assassin's body and the colonel said to the officer that he knew the young guy rarely because he met the young guy a few days ago and had no more information about him. In their way, to come back home, the colonel asked his sister in law to take care of his children if he had an accident.
