Chabelo y Pepito contra los monstruos

I am a great fan of the cinema of my country, from time to time there are wonders like Macario (1960) or also Maria Candelaria (1943), but here, in the middle of the 70s They decided to make a movie that I have seen Millions and has never bored me!.

From the hand of Chabelo and Pepito they bring us a Quality movie that despite its Obvious Special Effects and Chilling Sound Effects Works very well as a Horror Movie and also as a Comedy.

The performance of Chabelo and Pepito is Masterful, both are very funny and it is easy to get attached to them, the other scouts are not as memorable but they are decent characters who are in the environment, it also has classic characters from horror movies like Dracula and Frankenstein!, There is also a Humanoid Lizard that produces some Too Horrible Sounds that makes the movie a little more Creepy.

The Music of the Movie is Great, it is very well composed and there is a lot left in the atmosphere of the Movie.

The Special Effects are Too Obvious and Ridiculous for a Current Movie, but for that Time they were a Wonder and besides I am not one of those who want quality special effects by force, but I do not want them to be Terrible either and this Movie can have mediocre effects but it is understood that it was his time!

The Villains are decent, they are several Characters from the classic Horror movies and also an Organization of Robots that want to transplant the Brain to the Scouts, by the way the Laboratory scenarios are very Good!.

In itself, Chabelo and Pepito Against the Monsters is not the Best in the World but it is an Enjoyable Movie that combines Terror and Comedy to Perfection!, For all that has been said before, I rate this movie with an 8.
