L'autista di notte

I recall watching this enjoyable movie mid 1980s Showtime and Cinemax.

Even the first scene two 20 years old beautiful blondes silly dancing topless,voluptuous busties.

All throughout there are many gorgeous naked women parading on the white sandy beach, up and down the dunes. I was amazed by the full frontal nudists,not much dialog.

Gotta remember this was earlier 1970s summertime Germany,almost anything goes.

Noticed one fella with a camera taking millions of photographs of all these naked women even while they're sleeping.

Gee I wish these beautiful sexy naked babies would visit my beaches.

This film was reissued by Pop Cinema under the Something Weird banner in 2023 under the title "The Night Driver." I have no idea why they retitled it that, since it makes no sense and has no connection to what's happening in the film. I caught it on Tubi and discovered a light-hearted German sexcapade movie that's english-dubbed and fun to watch.

The film opens with a pair of topless blondes, Ready Childs and Able Baker, dancing and competing in a contest to win a vacation at the beach on Sylt island in Germany. They tie for first place so they both get to go!

Meanwhile, miles away Hugo Weber is embarking on a "business trip" with his chauffeur, and leaving behind his wife and daughter, Sabine (who is called Willing by her mother, hence the original title "Ready, Willing and Able"). In reality, Hugo is on his own sexcapade, heading to the beach on Sylt to try to get laid by some young bathing beauties.

We also have Aunt Cornelia and her adult nephew Edgar, vacationers who have just arrived at the beach. Cornelia is a stuffy old broad but young Edgar is hot to trot and certainly gets his share in the movie.

And that's just a FEW of the characters in this overloaded movie. A lot of the film was shot on a nude beach and there are lots of unpaid extras and real tourists all over the place, including nude ones (you couldn't get away with this today). There's lots of frolicking nude, having sex outdoors, having sex indoors, getting exposed while your having sex...and more sex!

The sex itself is relatively chaste, but the nudity is often full frontal for both men and women. The script and the acting are both sub-"Love Boat" level and there is cornball dialog left and right. But as a period piece, it's very entertaining and fun to watch all the interactions, no matter how little sense they make.

The grainy film stock is also laden with dust, scratches, noise, paint, markers and other detritus that is actually rather entertaining in and of itself. Step back in the "way-back machine" and let your sense of logic loosen and you'll have a terrific time!

A charming romantic beach comedy. In many ways it's like the old Frankie Avalon-Annette Funicello beach pictures. But there is one small difference: it is set on a NUDE beach! There are numerous scenes of skinnydipping and other nudity. A delightful story plus lots of eye candy make this film a total joy.

There is one scene I especially enjoyed. A nude man invites a nude woman to join him in a secluded spot behind some trees. When she accepts his invitation, he makes a pass at her. She starts to walk away, but when he apologizes and asks her to stay and talk for awhile, she does so. They even joke about being nude. She asks if he has a cigarette, and he replies, "You can see I have nothing up my sleeve!"
