I remember watching this movie back in 1980, when I was in fifth grade. How in the world can I forget the scene where Mr. Cooper (Dean Jones of "The Love Bug") was teaching his daughter to properly curtsy when he ends up doing it unintentionally in front of Mr. Hogan (John McGiver of "The Apple Dumpling Gang")? I laughed about it for days. Isabel Sanford ("The Jeffersons") was terrific singing the song about "the good Lord save us from things that go bump in the night." And Dennis Weaver made a memorable Abraham Lincoln. Yes, this should be on video, or better yet, DVD! This is a good movie for everyone of all ages, and I hope when my daughter is old enough to understand American history then this movie will become available.

This movie was excellent! Very touching and also comical. I would very much like for this movie to be made into a video so that I could buy it or rent it at a video rental store. It's one that I would like to see over and over.
