At 12:40 into the film, the members of the crew rescue Yoshida from topside in the rain and ocean spray. When they get him below deck, all of them are dry.
When Kasai shoots at Yoshida and Mami as he chases them off the boat, you can see the bullets ricochet off the ground before he even fires a shot.
When Kasai tells Mami to leave the ship, she leaves with no possessions. She is gone presumably for at least a few days (in the rain), but when she sneaks back onto the ship, her makeup is fresh and has obviously been re-applied.
