Yesterday, the "in competition" titles at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival were announced. As anyone who's ever attended knows, however, that's only half the party. Plenty of films screen there that aren't in competition, and there are some big ones popping up this year. We know this because the finalized list was released just this afternoon.

The big one for many of you readers is undoubtedly "The Runaways." You Twlighters know all about this one, a biopic focusing on the '70s rock band that launched the careers of Lita Ford (Scout Taylor-Compton) and Joan Jett (Kristen Stewart). It's the world premiere, so I expect this year's festival to see an influx of Twilighter fans who can't get enough of their KStew. Not to mention "New Moon" newcomer Dakota Fanning, who plays Cherie Currie.

There's also the Ryan Reynolds-starring thriller, "Buried," which is part of the fest's always-excellent series of midnight screenings.
