No. This is a jungle picture with no sci-fi trappings at all. At least one DVD distributor has packaged this in its collection of science fiction films, possibly because the title is similar to so many B-grade sci-fi flicks, such as La regina di Venere (1958) (1958) and Donne amazzoni sulla luna (1987) (1987) (which spoofs the genre).

No major distributor has released it, but several small companies have. This film seems to be in the public domain, which means any distributor can legally sell copies without paying royalties. Beware. Some small distributors market copies of public domain films with poor picture and sound. Others are more reputable and deliver good transfers of the best available prints. Shop around.
