Confinement

Storytelling content is few and far between on YouTube, and quality storytelling is even more so. That being said, it was a pleasant surprise when I first found Confinement. It's a love letter to everything SCP related, and manages to be hilarious without degrading the deeper themes of the story. The show has a loveable cast of characters, and a universe so charming and unique it reminds me of Rick and Morty Season 1. If you're a fan of SCP or of dark humor, this is a great watch.

Though not THE best, it's pretty high up there. With likable characters, witty/twisted black humor, a lot of intsense violence and gore, topped off with fan service for people who are into the lore of the SCP Foundation. I do have some gripes though, some of the animation can be jarring and not all of the jokes land. But when this show tries it hits it's mark as one of the best animated adult comedies.

If you are at all interested into scp related or mythical stuff then this is a much watch. Love the art style and respect to Bung for the amount of work that he puts in this.

The series focuses on one of those delightfully expendable folks known as D-class personnel, this one being a young man named Connor. But there's one twist: Connor can't die. This is because Connor technically isn't a D-class but is actually an SCP whose anomalous ability allows him to always come Back from the Dead. Naturally, the Foundation loves using him for all kinds of extremely dangerous experiments and missions, and the series focuses on the wacky, painful, and bloody misadventures he has to deal with as a result of this. Needless to say, extremely dark comedy happens! Characters are nicely written, and the series is intriguing and funny with perfect balance a reboot is coming soon so I hope it achieve what bung was trying to!
