Tughlaq Durbar

Its the classic fable story of good vs bad, however both are VJS here. The Bad character was established as the guy with no sense of sympathy, remorse and blindly opportunistic. There are some great scenes where VJS has proved his mettle once again as an actor. However, the last part was bit cliche and feels like 80s movie climax.

Vijay Sethupathi has perfected the art of playing an "antihero" and while most of his roles seem similar, that opens the door for the story to take the front seat, which I don't mind. His role in this movie wasn't very different from stuff I've seen from him, but the storytelling was interesting in this one.

The movie is a political satire that has everything his previous movies have had: some comedy + some regular entertainment + some songs + some action and this time, some commercial masala and some sentiments also. But along with all of that, this movie had a different way of telling a story that you might have heard various times before.

If you like a commercial movie + his acting, you'll enjoy this one. There's nothing mind blowing with the movie though. I watched it while I cooked food, and this was very entertaining for something running in the background.

Hmmm.... Good actors wasted on bad script no logic..Expected better movie with Parthibhan sir on..

Waste of time.just watched for the sake of Vijay sethupathi,but still disappointed as the story or script doesn't offer nothing much for him to do.

Good Movie. Everybody acted well in the movie. Songs and BGM in the movie were not so good. The movie was interesting and thrilling at 1st half. The movie was not interesting and thrilling at 2nd half. Good Movie.
