Transfert - Una storia d'amore

This film portrayed the depth and severity of mental awareness, in a very beautiful way. Gripping, intriguing and very honest. Great piece of work!

I loved 'Transference'. Not only was the music beautiful and so fitting for each moment of the film, the characters and performances were brilliant, both nuanced and intense at the same time. It's a nice slow burn and as such, you are gripped wanting to find out more about the two main characters. By the end I was so invested, I just wanted to keep watching.

I really enjoyed this film. The story line was interesting and everything became clear at the end. I would definitely recommend!

I had to stop the movie three times (family reasons) while watching it, but in the meantime I couldn't stop thinking about it. I found something powerful in the gazes of the characters, especially Nik's. He is so expressive, so deep; has a world in his eyes. He seems halfway between fury and peace, the condition both really seek, like home. There are several aspects that don't need as much explanation to understand (again, due to gazes, and a few but useful words), so I think this is one of the reasons why I loved this movie. And hope.

If you are a fan of hidden gems in the independent film genre then this film is for you. This film explores an intense and whirlwind romance between an older man with a mental illness and a young lady eager to see the world and experience life. Both characters have their own charm about them. I love how the characters come from different cultural backgrounds which appears to seperate but also connect them. The age gap brings an element of innocence to the relationship. Beautifully written. The shots are artistic and the music accompanies them perfectly. Amazing actors.
