Barun Rai and the House on the Cliff

Story is not extra ordinary pretty simple i mean really simple and direction is worst so many cuts without affect it's like a amature cut videos using their phone no effects between scene change, neither acting was good.

I don't usually review on IMDb, but for this I had to, having seen the multiple 10 star user reviews outnumbering all the others on here.

It's obvious that the makers have put a lot of effort into this (mostly in post-production), but the film is a bit of a mess. The titular character doesn't feature all that much to warrant the title, and his gift (demonstrated at the beginning of the film) is conveniently ignored, which otherwise would make a 10 minute film.

There are some good ideas here, but they're not very well executed. The suspense and fear is missing, partly to do with the acting & direction, but more to do with the voice-work. Some character's voices sound like they have been dubbed entirely, so I spent a lot of the film disengaged because it was so jarring. Some characters, no matter where they were, seem to have the same vocal echo; be it a police station, beach head, cottage, etc.

Maybe in years to come I will be proven wrong and this will be a cult film - the silliness was intentional - but for now, a 10 star film it is not.

Cheap crew, cheap story line cheap cinematography cheap editing and the ghosts were so childish that my 2 year old laughed. I only went to see because it had 9.2 rating I did think it was too good to be true.

Barun Rai is an individual that can see things others cannot. When law enforcement come across unsolvable cases, they consult Rai who chooses to investigate from a paranormal perspective. He is called to help with a case that includes several unusual suicides within a small seaside village.

Let's start with the obvious lack of quality. It's low budget and lacks the polished look of better funded films. The setting isn't too bad. It takes place in the 70's and the seaside cliff is naturally beautiful. The acting is not performed by seasoned actors so there's a bit of cringe going on.

In the opening sequence, I believed that the special effects might be somewhat interesting but once they started with the CGI and sound effects it took a huge nose dive. They are just not well done. The story and character development is cliché, predictable and weak and the progression is S-L-O-W. So slow that I actually had to speed up the playback to keep from getting bored.

This just didn't do anything for me and I'll never watch it again.

I don't understand why high ratings has been given to this movie by some peoples. Look like they are just born and watch horror movie or they are joking.

About this movie: i watched this movie by seeing high ratings but after watching 1st episode i realised that this is worst movie, just like" bhuj the pride" movie.

Poor direction, cheap actors and visual effects is third class. Only main actor and actess was good . Aslo location is nice which is only thing to watch.

Better to watch any horror serial on television.

I also recommend to those peoples who need good sleep, because while watching u will definitely sleep 😴.
