Through Night and Day

I thought Paolo and Alessandra's team up was going to be odd. But it did worked. I was drawn by tmhow they portrayed their characters. Not sure why but our, my wife and I, gussed the plot from the start even without reading any reviews or descriptions. Seeing Paolo Contis' other side, from Comedy to Drama. His crying looked so genuine and made me cry too. It is definitely a movie to watch.

Through Night and Day is one of the best Filipino films for me, because the story is so good! Kudos to Alessandra de Rossi who wrote the story. I didn't expect she could write that well! I'm impressed!

So, the film is a mixed drama, comedy and romance. With Paolo Contis, you'll really expect there will be so much comedy but of course, we all know how great an actor Paolo Contis was when he was a child and until now, he really is. He's not only in comedy but he can be in any genre! This is one reason that actually made the film so good and entertaining. Both Alessandra and Paolo are so funny.

Great film locations! Since the beginning I got chills already! How can I not? They shot it in Baguio and Iceland! Everything is perfect! From the story, locations and their love team! The music is okay too.

So if you are looking for a drama comedy, this film is for you. Just ready your empty bucket 'coz for sure you will need it after the Iceland view!

Movie is just hard to watch and I just cant explain how I frustrated I am watching this expecting the hype to live up

Execution is bad, really bad why? Director and storyboard seems that they didnt knew what they were doing

The movie is full of yara yara back and fourth they dont even know what a buildup is. They straight to your face slaps something straight out of nowhere,

First of half of the movie is really annoying and if executed properly would make the "hey b0ss i have cancer" part better.

So Yea, I cant express my frustrations much more. Movie has execution issues, ending is meh it could better if writing is better and I almost forgot that Aurora Borealis part was hilarious the editing looks godawful Lmao

This film is so overrated. I even asked myself why did I watched this. The experience was horrible, terrible. It is indeed poignant. How could this indie film be such? This one looks so light and bright but hits damn hard. I regret watching this before the day breaks. When everyone is having their good night sleep, having their sweetest dreams. I should've forced myself to sleep rather. I don't know if I can still do the errands set for the day as this film exhausted my whole being. It digged the deepest of my emotions piled and buried for a long time that my mind can't even remember. 30 minutes to an hour later after watching, I still find myself being so pathetic with a swollen face grasping for some air to breathe. So I am begging for those who haven't watched, please watch at your own risk.

The movie did what it wanted to do to viewers. Cry. Does it automatically means its a great film? Not exactly. It was saved by great acting on all parties. It had its moments but the rest was too predictable. The ending reminds me of another pinoy movie. Some scenes were like skits you see in an abs/gma teleserye. I honestly enjoyed it but just disappointed with how simple the story is.
