Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga perform "Shallow" perfectly. They have really great vocals and you can tell they have developed a bond with one another. I am delighted this song was awarded an Academy Award for Best original song.
Bradley Cooper's A Star Is Born is the fourth version of this story. I feel Bradley Cooper did a fantastic job separating his movie from the rest. Bradley Cooper was able to tell this familiar story in a refreshing and engaging way that kept me interested in what was going to happen next. What I think really sets this version of A star Is Born above the others is the superb acting. Bradley Cooper gives a raw emotional performance. Sam Elliot gives a subdued but effective performance as his older brother. Lady Gaga was good, although for me she really shines in the musical scenes as she has a great voice and is an extremely talented musician. A star Is Born is an excellent movie that is only elevated by Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga's passionate performance of "Shallow".
