Mr. Majnu

The director is so obsessed with "Geetha Govindham" screenplay and storyline that he even copy pasted few female lead song sequence actions where the female lead follows the male lead with lot of love with same typical moves. Its just that, "Geetha Goindham" story got finished in this movie in 1st half itself... then the director just reversed the same plot with male lead following female lead with lot of love to drag it.... but since its a repeat, it gets draaaagggged keeping the female lead saying NO... NO... NO... for the love for NO reason at all...

Like we see Cinderella storyline being repeated in different versions in different movies worldwide... "Geetha Govindham" storyline is just too good to watch it in different versions. But same like how the original Cinderalla movie is always a classic and can't be beaten... the original "Geetha Govindham" movie can't be remade in any different versions with any different actors. Original is always the best.

It's unfortunate this movie didn't perform too well. There's so many good things about it. Akhil has a great screen presence, music and bgm is AMAZING, acting is decent, story is quite predictable, but the way it was shown was nice. I know by trailer it looks like there's a lot of bad content and vulgar stuff, but there's actually not. In the beginning it's like hinted, but nothing is explicit or anything, I think you can definitely watch with family. But if you want to be extra safe, just skip the intro scene, that's the only scene where it's hinted and such. Overall, good movie, nicely entertaining and time pass. Again, music is a huge plus, helped carry the film.

The story was normal can easy predictable. 1st half is good and 2nd half flat dragged boring. Best part is breakup scene and climax which so touching. Personally best breakup scene in this mv that made damn touching simply superb acting by nidhi and akhil. Thaman no words songs nice especially naalo nee heart melting and bgm outstanding very touching impact on climax and breakup scene.

The movie revolves around the playboy nature of Vicky. He's a ladies' magnet. The most popular guy in the college. Accidentally a serious girl called Nicky bumps into his life.

The whole movie deals with the commitment phobia of Vicky. How he deals with it and how he overcomes it to find the true love of his life.

The first half was fast, filled with comedy. But somehow the second half was bereft of suspenses.

Every scene just seemed so predictable.

Instead of just overdosing all the comedy into the first half, equal distribution of romance and comedy elements would be well appreciated by the public.

The whole crew have breathed their full life into the characters.

The second half can be watched with lots of popcorns as it might seem very predictable.

But overall worth watchable with your family and friends on a relaxed Sunday, eating snacks or drinking cool drinks.

A good family entertainment movie.
