The Birch

This is possibly one of THE BEST shows from Crypt TV. All actors involved are absolutely BRILLIANT but especially the main 3: Xaria Dotson, Dempsey Bryk and Midori Francis. It's amazing to see three different perspectives and get three very different characters that you can root for. The only cons I can really think of is some dodgy CGI and a few poor kills but other than that it's very good. Seriously check this out, it was worth the wait.

Came into to this not expecting much and to my surprise it's really good! The acting is good, the story line is quite interesting.

Binge-watched the 1st season & it was good but the 2nd one is a real deception, directing is really bad.

I mentionned it on their facebook page & got assaulted by the page manager & some hardcore fans.... Never again!

Made me want to watch "Pumpkinhead" (the first one), and "Pan's Labyrinth" again.

I really wanted to hate it since it seems like it would be full of clichés but it actually left me on the edge of my seat. The way the story is told from multiple perspectives really adds to it. Not to mention there is great character development and I genuinely felt bad for the characters. As far as horror goes theres not any jumpscares but the birch is terrifying in its own way. Something about an evil tree just hits me differently. The backstory was what really had me impressed since it was more psychological horror which I did not expect. All in all this is a good series and I hope its picked up by a network where the actors' fantastic work can be showcased to a larger audience.
