Shareefa Daanish once again delivers a chilling performance as Asih. Her presence is haunting, yet strangely sorrowful, adding layers of complexity to a character often seen only as a source of fear.

One of the strongest aspects of Asih is its mood. From the cinematography to the eerie sound design, the movie creates a consistent sense of dread that lingers throughout. The use of shadow and silence is particularly effective in building suspense without relying too heavily on jump scares.

However, the pacing of the narrative can feel uneven at times. Certain scenes drag, while others rush through potentially powerful moments. The emotional core of the story-Asih's tragic life-could have been explored in greater depth to allow for a more impactful connection with the audience.

Despite its flaws, Asih succeeds in creating an unsettling atmosphere and offers a story that's more than just a typical ghost tale. It gives humanity to its ghost, making viewers feel sympathy instead of just fear. While not groundbreaking, it's a solid entry in Indonesian horror that fans of the genre will likely appreciate.

I thought only 3 scary scenes that shocked me when I was watching this movie. I think this movie should tell more story or explanation about Asih herself.

So i just watching this movie out and here's the lowdown. On the plus side, the movie's got some solid scares and the atmosphere is pretty eerie, which definitely adds to the whole creepy vibe. The setting and visuals are kinda dope, too. But on the flip side, the plot's kinda predictable and the characters don't really stand out. Some of the jump scares feel a bit cheap and overdone. Overall, it's decent for a spooky night but don't expect anything mind-blowing.

I know Asih from Risa Saraswati, so I'm no stranger to this ghost, because I already know everything about it, it's just that my expectations were higher so that's why I was a bit disappointed, but it's okay, the plot is goooood.

Only jumpscare and not fun, and not scary at all , only jumpscare in this movie i think
