The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die sees many fan favorite cast members return for the Netflix movie as Uhtred Bebbanburg (Alexander Dreymon) is caught up in another war thanks to new characters attempting to take the crown. Based on The Saxon Stories by Bernard Cornwell, The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die will serve as an epilogue to the hit Netflix series, which followed the life of Uhtred Bebbanburg as he tried to help Alfred the Great (David Dawson) unify the Saxon Kingdoms while also fighting for his birthright. Uhtred also found himself in a moral quandary as his loyalties to both the Saxons and Danes were tested regularly.
Given that The Last Kingdom timeline covered a 45-year period, it didn't come as a surprise to see many cast members exit the series since several of them did have to leave for the sake of the story or be recast to portray older versions.

“Thicker than Water,” a French-language thriller featuring a strong female protagonist and a compelling narrative, has recently launched on Netflix. Several issues, from prejudice toward immigrants in France to gender discrimination at the workplace, have been deftly shown in this series, making it an intriguing experience to feel connected with the story and its characters. The protagonist of the show is an Algerian woman named Fara, who aspires to be a renowned TV news anchor. Yet, as an Arabian Muslim, she finds it extremely challenging to realize her ambition in a foreign nation, especially in a workplace environment where patriarchy predominates. However, true effort does pay off, as it did for Fara when she got an opportunity to be a television news anchor at her network, but shortly after she earned her big break, her family got entangled in a drug trafficking scandal due to some mistakes that her brother Selim committed.

One of the most eagerly anticipated series of the spring is coming to Netflix on April 6. Ali Wong and Steven Yeun star in “Beef” as strangers involved in a road-rage incident. But rather than let insurance sort it out, the two drivers morph into lunatics bent on revenge, resulting in increasingly harrowing — and hilarious — circumstances.
Watch the trailer for “Beef”:
More than just a meme, on April 13, Netflix unveils limited series “Florida Man,” which follows a struggling ex-cop (played by Edgar Ramírez) forced to return to his home state of Florida to find a Philly mobster’s runaway girlfriend. What should be a quick gig becomes a wildly spiraling journey into buried family secrets and an increasingly futile attempt to do the right thing in a place where so much is wrong.
Check out the trailer for “Florida Man”:
Also coming to Netflix in April will be the final chapter of “Firefly Lane.

So many great stories in history start out with the key players hating each other — as it is in Netflix and A24’s “Beef,” streaming on Netflix in April. Amy (Ali Wong) and Danny (Steven Yeun) meet via parking lot bump turned action-movie car chase, their lives connecting and their road rage lingering in weeks and months after the incident. In reviewing the series, IndieWire’s Ben Travers said that “’Beef’ does a fine job balancing Amy and Danny’s practical intelligence and impractical passions; their bitterness toward the other driver ebbs and flows as their personal lives better or worsen, and it’s in these moments that the half-hour drama thrives.”

Netflix teased its slate of new European series, including Part 3 of hit heist show “Lupin” starring Omar Sy, during its showcase at Series Mania in Lille.
The standing room-only session — which featured two DJs on stage spinning tracks to a Netflix sizzle — was a “roadshow”-style presentation that featured a number of clips from the streamer’s forthcoming European shows, followed by a short panel with commissioners Katja Hofem from Germany, Damien Couvreur from France and Jenny Stjernströmer Björk from the Nordics. Each briefly discussed their new shows but didn’t go into detail about their editorial strategies.
Due to the exclusive nature of the clips, security was extremely strict at the session, with French guards shouting at delegates — including journalists — to put away any laptops and phones, making any reporting of the session virtually impossible.
