Seagull Eggs

A minimalistic short film. Three seagull eggs on a rock, near the sea. The waves washing the rock. The cries of seagulls, the sound of waves beating the promontory. One by one, across 16 minutes, each egg falling in sea. Nothing interesting can be the main conclusion. Boring - the second. Eccentric, pretious , absurd or art film - other etiquettes. In fact, the answer is easy- it is a short film by Abbas Kiarostami. A film about life, in which the idea, the photography are more significant than storytelling because each of them is the storytelling itself. Short, a support for reflection.

If you're not into the movie it's easy to think that's another silly movie about nothing, a movie which supposed to be good just for have the director name. But if you watch it carefully, it's a great movie with all the classic narrative into it. The bad, the good, the tension, empathize with the bad in one part, to suffer for the good. It's not easy to watch, but it's wonderful if you watch it right.
