Not for audience who like flashy cars, expensive sets, overacting from "bollywood stars"...etc etc.Simple and something a small town person can relate it.Thanks to OTT platform such underrated gems will make it to its target (mature and intelligent) audience.
Thumbs up

Jeetu fits really well in the role of small town paan wala who has a dream to do something on his own and make his name in the town. His luck started when a beautiful girl with her family shifted to a house in front of his paan shop. Romeo boys started to visit his shop and becomes Romeo adda of town. For full story please watch movie..😛
Sonu Nigam's melodious song fits perfectly. Jeetendra Kumar and 5-6 characters done great job. Although the performances and background is similar to Panchayat, the script sometimes looses its grip. The ending is realistic and not like typical bollywood masala which ends with happy or sad way but loopholes in script does not let story succeeded.

Growing up in Chhattisgarh & remembering actual guys around Pan shop in 80s-90s. Story is simple yet Nostalgic. Enjoy. The daddys are like Shakespearean characters of Maqbool. Smart writing. Those finding faults like toxic one sided love & all simply don't get it. The small town delight is wonderfully captured & Jitu bhai as usual is fantastic & seems rooted. There are no idiotic slo-mo chases & silly action sequences or a moral jingoistic tale here. It's simplicity captured well. Enjoy & you won't regret.

Film is decent movie but the huge issue is how they objectify a schoolgirl and just normalize the harassment of a school girl barely 18 even the teacher shows sexual interest on his student
that's pretty creep.

This is a completely refreshing take on affection, love, struggles of life. If you are going in, with an expectation of seeing yet another twisted fairytale which bollywood keeps churning out every year, then please avoid this movie as this director has chosen realism and logic over, dreamy sequences. This is a tale rooted in ground reality, which encompasses the journey of "panwaadi". His dreams, affection, challenges and growth and masterfully portrayed. The music of the film could have been much better though. Overall it's a great watch.

The movie starts on a nice comedic tone with good characters. But, then it starts to get boring and running out of ideas. The main character makes weird decisions at the end that I feel like were added to deliver a kind of social message at the end, but did not quite stick for me.
Jitendra Kumar does a great job as the main character and the supporting cast is very good too. If only the writing would have gone in a different direction, and would have wrapped the movie up early, it would have been a great movie

Pathetic way to normalize harassing YOUNG girls These GROWN men are shown to stare at a young girl and follow her around like it's nothing.
On top of that when a man is finally caught and jailed for defaming and staring at the girl, the city protests against that!! There's so much more wrong with this movie and the high rating truly depicts the indecent and disturbing mindset of our society. This "love story" was in no way "cute" or "romantic", it was outright uncomfortable to watch. The girl didn't even say A SINGLE WORD in this movie. All she had to do was look pretty so she could be a sight for tharki men. I didn't enjoy a single second of this movie.

Do not Objectify woman and what type of scene director wants to create by mob of boys chasing a single girl while coming back home, no doubt in last culprit thrashed by police. Nothing new in movie except Jitu Bhai - Kota Factory (Web Series) wale - I watch only for him.
Chaman Bahaar (A Springtime Garden) looks like a satire of sorts as its starts with the story of an aimless bear-fearing man (Jitendra Kumar) who puts up a paan shop (a shop for selling tobacco-based products and candies) with the hope of making good money and earning a name for himself and his widower father. His plans soon go wrong but his life takes a critical turn whatsoever of another nature. He gets smitten by a young school-going girl (Ritika Badiani) and so starts his uncontrolled stalking, aggravated and influenced by more active stalking by tens of other men who sees as his adversaries.
In telling the story, the makers direct your attention towards the menace of lustful men preying on women regardless of their age or interest, especially in backward villages and towns, an example of which is the setting of Chaman Bahaar. In such a scenario, concepts of consent, permission, and mutual affection go out of the window, and the focus is merely on male ego, power aggrandisement, and ability. Evidently with the minute role that Badiani plays in this film about collective stalking. There's some humour here and there which works for the film, but the conclusion is kept ambiguous, preventing me from forming a direct comparison with Kabir Singh (2019).
Chaman Bahaar is moderately funny, and has been directed well with a good performance by the frontman. Its message is important and one that makes it essential viewing. TN.

Set in a small town the story is about a young aspiring man wanted to make his presence felt so he quits his job and starts its own setup which is basically 'Paan Ka Khoqa'. Infront of his setup there is a house where a family has been shifted in which there is a beautiful gorgeous young girl who despite of being in a small town wears Shorts & T-shirts and roams freely in town and without a doubt becoming a heartthrob to all the boys around and that's almost it about the movie i.e. very limited plot. The film has been written and directed by Apurva Dhar which is obviously very limited but still is 2hours long which makes it more mediocre with respect to its storytelling, it could have been better with entertainment's perspective if the movie could be summed up within 1.5hours because there are some LOL moments but not a single ROFL moment. Ritika Badiani as female lead has no single dialogue in an entire movie she has just been objectified to flaunt her beauty. Jitendra Kumar as Billu looked convincing but that was not enough.

Is it not creepy to other reviewers that the whole plot of the movies was about grown-up men stalking/falling in love/borderline harrassing an underage school going girl??
But the movie seem to want to frame this as endearing and romantic based on the choices of music etc.
Almost all characters except the girl's family are really unsympathetic, lost and quite frankly gross.
The schoolgirl doesn't even say a thing during the whole movie. She is reduced to merely an object to be oogled at with the male gaze and commented on.
This movie is horrifying, awkward and cringeworthy.
Perhaps it's satire...? But that doesn't seem to be the case from these reviews. Or maybe the audience didn't get it?
But just showing the creepy stalkers perspective and letting him cry for a long time on the screen while silencing the girls perspective completely really leaves a bad taste.
Anyway, wth is wrong with all these 9-10 star reviews??

I wonder why people don't prefer watching such entertaining movies of outsiders. It's way better than the craps of Nepo kids and Salman Khan.
This movie beautifully covers those days of our teenage when we used to go to tution and try to chase our love interest but the movies runs from the perspective of a panwari played by Jitu. He was just fabulous. Although not perfectly written, ending was not as satisfying as it can be.
