School 2013 is one of those dramas that doesn't sugarcoat the realities of high school. Set in a public school, it follows a group of students and their teachers as they navigate the challenges of adolescence, friendship, family, and the pressures of the education system. At the heart of the story is a group of seniors who struggle with their futures, their identities, and their relationships with one another, all while facing the harsh realities of a competitive academic environment.
What sets School 2013 apart is how real it feels. It's not just about the typical teen drama or romance; it tackles much more serious topics like bullying, the pressure to succeed, family struggles, and even mental health. The characters are complex, each with their own issues and goals, making them feel like real people you can relate to. The show doesn't shy away from portraying the darker sides of high school life, which makes it refreshing and thought-provoking.
The performances are top-notch, with a stellar cast including Lee Jong-suk, Kim Woo-bin, and Choi Daniel. The chemistry between the students and their teachers feels genuine, and you can really see the growth in the characters as they face challenges and form bonds with each other. It's a drama that will make you laugh, cry, and reflect on your own school experiences.
If you're looking for a show that's both emotional and inspiring, School 2013 is a must-watch. It's a powerful reminder of the struggles that young people face, and how sometimes the most important lessons come from the people who stand by you through it all.

I totally watched this series for jongsuk... But it wasn't that bad at all. I think the characters were written well and the plot all made sense. I loved jongsuks character and his whole story with his guilt and stuff, I think it was written so well. The teachers were also great characters that were pretty good plot lines aswell. I loved how almost every character had plot that was clearly thought about and the was it was executed was actually pretty good. I enjoyed the casting, there were definitely some great actors in here and some wonderful acting. The pacing also wasn't bad at all, I really enjoyed how all the plot unfolded. Overall, it wasn't something I'd usually enjoy, but it was okay. ! Id reccomend.
